Many people have pianos that have been in their family for decades or even multiple generations. These important pieces of family history age better on the outside than inside and are often dull-sounding, difficult to play, and have broken parts (or at the least certainly don’t sound or play anything like they did when they were new). We offer complete piano rebuilding so you can enjoy your piano like you never have before and leave the legacy of music for future generations.

You want your piano to last. Be certain your technician is prepared to do a thorough job.

A piano rebuild or restoration will include stripping the piano down to its basic frame and putting it back together by hand with all new or refurbished parts--with time and attention to detail that can't be matched in a factory setting.

We offer two basic options, and both are comprehensive. We don’t do shortcuts or merely cosmetic jobs. Definitions for “rebuild” and “restoration” vary depending on who you talk to. Here are our abbreviated definitions:

During a restoration original parts will be refurbished or replaced with new original factory parts.

A rebuild might include more modern parts that can potentially increase the pianos musical potential thanks to modern advancements in piano technology.

Either option will run anywhere from $12,000-$35,000+ depending on the size of the piano and the scope of the project. Each piano has individual needs which can be determined by an inspection and reevaluated as the work continues:

Over the summer and into the early Fall Brandon took our 40 year old baby grand and turned it into a new piano. He was very reasonable with price, punctual and polite. He just finished the last tuning and we could not be happier with both the piano and Brandon’s expertise and professionalism. Let Brandon guide you through what your piano needs and you won’t be disappointed. He will do what is needed, but will not do work just for the sake of work.

Brandon did an outstanding job on a piano that he rebuilt for me to give to my daughter. He was both knowledgeable and professional, as well as cooperating with me on my schedule. Brandon shared each step with me through email, as he completed that part of the piano. I would highly recommend him for any piano service.
